IT’S THURSDAY, MUST BE COLMAR

It’s early Thursday morning at the Gare D’est train station in Paris, which means we’re off to the town of Colmar. But before I elaborate, let me briefly tell you about our extraordinaire last day in Paris.

It started with a fantastic tour at the Louve with our guide Avi ( WALKS Tours), and ended with a wunderbar gastronomical and exploring evening walking around the Eiffel Tower and riding the dinner cruise on the Seine river. (BTW, we didn’t get to see all scheduled on the river cruise because the water level was too high for getting under some of the bridges (ponts). Today we are riding the train east to the Alsace-Lorraine region for a Christmas extravaganza in the little town Colmar, known for its wonderful Christmas decorations, markets, and famous people.
